The Challenge

As a start-up, the immediate business challenge was to get as many parents downloading and trialling the app with their kids as possible. Not exactly an easy feat when the topic is about finance - something many people find boring or put in the ‘too-hard’ basket.

The Solution

We honed in on parents first - not just telling them about this new app, but also involving them in questions, and tapping into the aspirations and common challenges faced when it comes to kids and money. Literally hundreds of ads were created across dozens of full-funnel, ‘angles’ with comprehensive testing to establish the messages and social platforms that would convert best. Digital display ads were then included into the mix for retargeting. Tactical outdoor was used for key seasons, such as back to school.
